Client Account Representative

The role of our Client Account Representative is to increase sales by establishing new business opportunities while maintaining and providing cross-sell opportunities to existing clients. This is achieved through professional negotiation of pricing, utilization of proper sales skills as wells as retaining and servicing clients. Experience in solution-based Consultative selling practices and accurate product knowledge over the telephone are two key tenets to this position. Candidates must possess basic IT knowledge, solution-based consultative selling, and professional salesmanship experience. The position is located at our O’Fallon, IL headquarters office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
  • Master our line of products and the competitive cybersecurity landscape
  • Sell our solutions to current and prospective partners with a consultative approach in a high energy environment
  • Build relationships with current account customers over time to identify and develop additional upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Provide written and verbal quotes to customers in an organized, timely and professional manner
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Attend comprehensive training programs gaining knowledge of products, application of products, company regulations and procedures, sales skills, and utilization of cybersecurity software packages
  • Track record of carrying a significant quota, meeting and exceeding those set forth by management, including all activity and revenue targets
  • Assess the prospective client/partner cyber risk tolerance and recommend a holistic solution based on our product offering
  • Hunter role: must be comfortable w/ outreach activities that include, email, LinkedIn, cold calls to prospects daily

Travel:

Limited travel to trade shows, local events and other meetings may be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 5+ years of Account Management or sales experience
  • Strong track record of achievement preferably selling/marketing/managing cyber or IT related products and services
  • Business to Business sales experience preferred

Salary:

Base salary plus commission
