Commercial Sales Manager

Position Description:

TechGuard Security is looking for a Sales Manager to join our Commercial Division to work with our Direct Sales team, as well as our Channel Partner Development team.  In this role you will manage the entire sales team and drive the revenue of our sales strategy.  The Sales Manager will also collaborate closely with the Marketing team on needs for the team, conversions of leads, provide feedback and help develop marketing materials that will support the sales initiatives for the team.  The Sales Manager will need to have experience in selling IT and/or professional services in the technology and cybersecurity industry.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop and manage each got to market strategy for Direct / Channel sales
  • Lead the team’s continual knowledge in the industry as well as sales knowledge
  • Provide coaching and feedback not only on sales calls but on the entire sales process, prospecting, entering an account, positioning, value proposition, framing, qualifying account, proposal creation, creative pricing, proposal delivery, and closing of sales
  • Development and manage each Sales Representative’s quota and attainment of that through daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly goals to reach or surpass that quota
  • Review activity metrics and progress through weekly 1 on 1’s
  • Manage Sales expectations with the clients / potential clients
  • Manage New, Renewal, Recurring business and report monthly on these
  • Report and manage forecast of the sales teams by business segment
  • Drive division goals with the team and lead through example and inspiration
  • Have a voice in new division initiatives, product/service launches, direction, culture
  • Help drive a culture of accountability

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of sales experience in direct and/or channel sales
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales leadership experience in direct and/or channel sales
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent conflict resolution, accountability, expectation, and EI skills
