Cybersecurity Client Account Representative

Position Description:

The role of our Client Account Representative is to increase sales by establishing new business opportunities while maintaining and providing cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.  This is achieved through professional negotiation of pricing, utilization of proper sales skills as wells as retaining and servicing clients.  Excellent customer service practices and accurate product knowledge over the telephone are two key tenets to this position. Candidates must possess basic IT knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and sales experience.  The position is located at our Scott Air Force Base, IL headquarters office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Master our line of products and the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
  • Sell our solutions to current and perspective partners with a consultative approach in a high energy environment.
  • Build relationships with current account customers over time to identify and develop additional upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Carry a significant quota; meet or exceed activity goals or revenue targets.
  • Maintain professional and proactive communication with management regarding activities, customer needs, and other business development opportunities.

  • Provide written and verbal quotes to customers in an organized, timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Attend comprehensive training programs gaining knowledge of products, application of products, company regulations and procedures, sales skills, and utilization of cybersecurity software package.
  • Maintain & manage account information, utilize CRM software and adhere to procedures as outlined by company policy.
  • Manage all aspects of customer inquiries honestly and professionally.
  • Meet goals and objectives set by and with management.

Travel:

Limited travel to trade shows, local events and other meetings may be required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 5+ years of Account Management or sales experience
  • Strong track record of achievement preferably selling/marketing/managing cyber or IT related products and services
  • Business to Business sales experience preferred

Salary:

Base salary plus commission
