Location: Ft. Meade, MD
TechGuard Security is looking for a Systems Administrator who will perform system backups and recovery, maintain user accounts and data files, monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity, install hardware and software, conduct system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software and security related problems. The System Administrator will conduct training, maintain documentation, and provide front-line customer support for IT-related problems.
- 2 years combined experience in system administration, which shall have been obtained within the last six (6) years and include experience with the following: Operating Systems (e.g., Windows, LINUX, Unix); Virtualization technologies; and File storage administration.
- Demonstrated experience in software development in scripted languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby).
- Requires DoD 8570 compliance – at minimum, IAT Category, Level I.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline or four (4) years demonstrated systems administration experience including administering user accounts, backup/restore experience, security practices/tuning, user administration, software and hardware installation/maintenance, system installation, file management and system troubleshooting.
Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI with CI Poly required
